I review quite a lot of silicone oven mitts, and some are just ok, while others are amazing. This week I got to review a great set of oven mitts that have silicone on the outside, and fabric on the inside. These represent a great model of oven mitts as they are comfortable to try on, very handy to use, and indispensable in the kitchen.

I think silicone oven mitts and gloves are great as they are so easy to clean, and they can withstand very nigh heat. However, if you try them on, you will see that typically silicone mitts and gloves do let some heat through to your hand, so compared to regular gloves made of fabric they sometimes feel a bit worse. However, this pair of mitts got the best of both worlds – it has silicone on the outside, which makes it perfect for holding slippery trays, and it has fabric lining on the inside of the mitts which makes it easier to handle the heat if you need to hold to your hot tray or pan for a bit longer than just a few seconds.

I love this set of mitts, and how beautifully they are provided by the company in a gift box. This is a gift that you will be proud of giving to a host when you are visiting someone’s house, or coming to a housewarming party. Every household needs oven mitts, and these are some of the items that may be overlooked in a house, and often need to be replaced as they easily get messy, dirty and fall apart. At least that is haw it has been with the mitts in our house – every time the fabric ones we have had would just fall apart. That is why we have completely switched to the silicone ones, and these ones are just so great – soft and comfortable for your hands, and give you a good grip with the silicone.

Here is a video I have made to show these silicone oven mitts by Life Quintessentials.

I will be setting up a giveaway next week for these mitts, make sure to enter! If you want me to send you a reminder about this giveaway when it is live, leave your comment with your email in the comment section, and I will be sure to send you a link with the giveaway when it is live!
