Today my girls are off school, and we have a long day to finish up some loose ends, get some cleaning done, and spend time together. The girls cleaned the house a bit in the morning, we had lunch of leftovers and pasta, and now we are making potato dinner rolls from here, we are also going to have carrot soup with them, and leftovers. We are trying to eat up all the wonderful winter vegetables we have received from the winter CSA box from Garden Treasures farm in Arlington. I have a lot of potatoes and red onions to eat in the next few days. For the potato rolls today I had to substitute flour for self-rising flour, so we’ll see what happens. The rolls have some yeast and baking powder now as well, so I don’t know, maybe I’ll cut the rising time a bit.
The girls are being really nice and helpful today – great!
