Now this is one other item in my household that I am so thankful to get for a review.
I have to confess that some of the things in life I am definitely ashamed of. I am a cheapo. This is sad and frustrating, because I will go out of my way to save money. Often times I save money but compromise in quality and lifespan of a product trying to catch that deal. I am ashamed of this habit, and I am fixing it one day at a time.
This habit makes me go for the cheapest item available in the market. Hence, the story of my pepper grinder.
I think for the first two years of living as a family we were just buying pre-ground pepper. Finally, enough was enough, and we bought a good pepper mill. It broke just a few months ago. That’s when I went for my cheapo me, and picked the cheapest available variety. I kicked myself for that many times. That old pepper mill broke my skin in wounds from its unfortunate design, it would spread my peppercorns all over the floor.
I am so glad I have a new pepper and salt grinder now that I can throw that cheap one away. A pepper mill is one of those things that you use every day. You want to invest into something that will last, be beautiful and easy to use.
This salt and pepper grinder by Elacra is stainless steel, so it goes well with our other small appliances. It has a lot of transparent plastic so it is easy to see how much salt and pepper you have left. It has two lids on both of its ends, so that you wouldn’t make a mess of pepper on your table every time you put it down. It is very easy to use when grinding pepper, it is fast, and it will not give you sores on your hands because of its sleek design.
You’ll be surprised, but these little things can really mess up your day if you try to save every penny and then end up with more cleaning up to do because your cheap stuff is making all the mess. Honestly, this grinder is the way to go.
If you are thinking about switching up some of the kitchen stuff you have for some better options, you should think about buying this grinder by Elacra – I give it 100 stars! I love it!
It costs $14.95 right now.
