We are getting our house ready for the school year now. My kids have been helping me all summer long to keep up with the baby running around and making messes everywhere, and now we will have relatives visiting in a couple of weeks, and so we need to get the house livable, and more or less decent looking.

One of the issues we are having is putting away clothes that we are not using. My kids do a lot of dancing, and one issue with dancing is the costumes that have to hang in there in the closets, and sometimes just on the sides of beds or chairs or wherever, and then getting the place messy, and getting themselves messy. I am glad to have new garment bags by Kitchen Classique that will be used to store the costumes that we have and are not using, and will probably be used for business trips as well in the new future. Those garment bags are very roomy, and durable, very good for storing and transporting clothing you want to preserve and not get messy.

I got the set of garment bags for a review, and it also includes a shoe bag. I remember in my school days in Russia we always needed a second pair of shoes to wear at school so as not to get the whole school dirty with pieces of soil falling off our shoes. Here my kids don’t need extra shoes all the time, but when it is raining, it is nice to be able to wear rain boots, and then change at school for a more comfortable pair of shoes, so I am sure we will end up using the shoe bag a lot in the coming school year. It is nice to have a dedicated bag, then you are more careful with it, and know what to look for, other than using plastic store bags that tear and get lost a lot.
