Rock painting patterns

  1. This one is a mandala stone painting – isn’t it beautiful? You don’t need a lot of skills either to paint something like this on a rock! Rock painting patterns are not that difficult to find – you can think about them, or things that you usually like to paint. You can find patterns in nature, or science, and then emulate them – it’s not difficult.

2. This is another beauty I have found – it’s a dream catcher rock painting

๐Ÿ…ฐ๐Ÿ††๐Ÿ…ด-๐Ÿ…ธ๐Ÿ…ฝ๐Ÿ†‚๐Ÿ…ฟ๐Ÿ…ธ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ…ธ๐Ÿ…ฝ๐Ÿ…ถ ๐Ÿ††๐Ÿ…ฐ๐Ÿ…ป๐Ÿ…ป ๐Ÿ…ฐ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†ƒ . ๐ŸŒŸThree-dimensional. Textural. Vibrant. . ๐ŸŒŸEach uniquely-shaped stone from the Caribbean Sea is lovingly hand-painted with premium acrylic paint and sealed with several coats of matte varnish that is moisture-resistant and non-yellowing. Each stone is securely mounted, angled and arranged to best display its lovely design. Together, the stones form a perfect unity that brings harmony and expresses energy in the artwork. .

Measuring about 21″ by 18″ by 2″ (53 cm by 46 cm by 5 cm), the beautifully-crafted frame is composed of birch wood with oak trim, painstakingly hand-sanded, brushed with a golden pecan stain and sealed with matte varnish for durability. . ๐ŸŒŸThe artist’s name is personally burned into a piece of leather and attached to the wood frame. .

Stones. Wood. Leather. All natural materials transformed into an exquisite one-of-a-kind masterpiece that will definitely be a conversation piece. ใ€‚ ใ€‚ ใ€‚ ใ€‚ ใ€‚

I love how you can practice your lettering skills on rocks, and create that awesome motivational message for someone who is going to find your rock!

One of the awesome things about rock painting these days is that people paint rocks, and actually share them with strangers by planting them at different sites around the town. This is a new type of an activity, kind of like geocaching, except you never know when and where you are going to maybe find a rock! It is a fun activity for both the person who has created the rock, and the person who finds it as he would never expect it!

Our rock painting finding story

Here is one rock that we have found recently on our trip to a local country village. It was fun finding, and the message on the back of the rock asked us to either keep the rock to ourselves of we like, or to rehide it for someone else to get it later. What a thoughtful and nice idea! This is what community is all about! If you want something, you can have it, or you can share it with someone else! You know that your day has already gone better now that you have found this treasure, why not help someone else to have an awesome day? Nowadays our life is more about experiences, not the stuff that we have. While it is a great idea to have a painted rock collection, isn’t it cool now that we can just take a snapshot of a memory, post it on social media, and have it forever for us saved in our feed?! I am looking forward to growing old, and then looking back at all of those memories that we have created with our kids, and finding that rock will now be forever saved in our day to day life history.

Are you following me on Instagram? I would love it if you would! I love posting ideas about what to do with kids, and how we are spending our days with the family! Follow us for those cute updates!

What are you going to paint on rocks?

Hope you have enjoyed all of the ideas that we have found for your rock painting and pebble decorations! What would you paint on them? Would you hold on to a collection you make, or would you want to share them with friends, and just random people to brighten up their day?

Share your rock painting ideas with us, where do you get your inspiration? Hope you get to try this activity this summer with your children, and experience sharing your art with your community by leaving your rocks at fun spots, and you could even track them on social media with your own hashtag, how cool is that?
