We were so lucky to try and test out another game from RoosterFin, this one is called Wild Dash Game. It is another great example of a game where kids can be kids, enjoy their time playing a traditional board game, and at the same time practicing their mental Math additions without even noticing they are learning.

I was thinking recently that our beloved giant toy retailer is closing, and it is like an era that is going to be ending this summer. In a big store you can’t really find out what a game is like as they are sold closed, and people generally take a bit of a risk getting a new and unknown game for their family if they have never heard of it before. I am glad that I can describe a game we truly enjoy to recommend it to my readers, and allow them to easily find it online, and be able to also get it for their families, having already learned what to expect inside the game.

Here is a little bit about this great game of Wild Dash – it is a great opportunity for kids to learn how to add numbers together as they are involved in a competitive race with each other. You can play several races collecting 1st place coins, and the winner of the whole game is the one who collects 3 coins in the end.

This game does not have a board, just a deck of cards, and a very imaginative cube roller that you need to assemble – I have never seen anything like it before. Depending on what cube you roll out, you will either need to take more cards in addition to what you were dealt, or you can start your race, and then add boosters to score more points in the round. Because each card has a different value of points assigned to it, players have to add numbers that they get together to find out their score in each race.

Wild Dash game is a great present for your elementary school Math scientist, maybe sometimes instead of getting a study book with boring additions, this will be a better way to go, and you will be sure that the student will actually be practicing the additions by playing, instead of never opening the study book in the summer. This game would also work like a great study tool in class for students who need some extra help with additions without making them feel like they are studying.
