Mushroom filled Crescent Roll
This is a perfect recipe for an hors d'oevre dish, or a pie to eat with a bowl of your favorite soup
  • Pillsbury Crescent Rolls Dough - 2 cans
  • 1 8 ounce pack of button mushrooms, sliced
  • ½ of a medium onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp of butter
  • eggwash - mix 1 egg with water
  1. Heat butter and olive oil in a pan.
  2. Preheat oven at 375 degrees.
  3. Fry onions until almost translucent, then add mushrooms to the pan, and fry them for about 3-5 minutes until done. Don't forget to add salt/pepper to the mushrooms.
  4. Let the mushrooms with onions cool down.
  5. Open up Pillsbury crescent dough into triangles and spread them on 2 trays.
  6. Place approximately ½ Tbsp to 1 Tbsp of the mushrooms into the middle of the crescent roll.
  7. Carefully roll the dough, trying to keep all of the mushrooms inside, and making a crescent shape.
  8. Paste eggwash on top of the crescents to get that golden glow.
  9. Bake in the oven at 375 degrees for 9 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
