Poppy Seed Filled Crescent

Try this sweet dessert to enjoy the flavors of the old world adapted for the modern time
  • 2 cans of Pillsbury crescent rolls
  • 35 g of poppy seeds
  • 2 Tbsp of milk
  • 2 Tbsp of granulated sugar
  • eggwash - 1 egg mixed with water
  1. Preheat oven at 375 degrees.
  2. Mix poppy seeds, milk and granulated sugar into liquidy paste.
  3. Open up Pillsbury crescent dough into triangles and spread them on 2 trays.
  4. Place approximately ½ tsp to 1 tsp of the poppy seed paste in the middle of the crescent roll. Use a brush if needed.
  5. Roll the dough making a crescent shape. Don't worry if a little bit of filling spills out.
  6. Paste eggwash on top of the crescents to get that golden glow.
  7. Bake in the oven at 375 degrees for 9 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
