Our kids are on a spring break now, and I can’t wait to take them out to a movie theater to watch the new Smurfs movie! For now we are getting excited about the movie while coloring the pretty pages available on
It will be a great way to celebrate a birthday with a movie viewing party, and make some of the snacks and dishes that are shown on the website for Smurfs The Lost Village Movie. I especially love the popsicles and the Smurfberry pie!
This is a powerful movie, and so far just from reading about it I think it could teach my children a lot of powerful lessons. Every day we have to make some important and courageous decisions that lay out the foundations of our future days and how our life is going to play out next. Every day, in our interactions with others, we choose the type of behavior we decide to exhibit, and often have to have real courage in dealing with issues that surround us. For my family, anxiety is often a problem, and when we are faced with the need to show our courage, we often struggle. We need to learn the important lessons of being able to show that courage in important events, and also in daily conversations that we lead, and not be afraid to take brave steps that will help lay the foundation of what we truly believe in.
Please, tell me in your comments in what area of your life you need to show more courage, and what is stopping you to overcome it. I hope that this blog post can encourage you to watch this interesting new movie, but also make you think a bit – what is it that you are trying to achieve in life, are you able to be brave enough in your daily life? Maybe someone who is scared to make those decisions will read this post, and get that motivation to act, or will read and know that they are not alone in their struggles to face the difficulties in life.
