View your photos on your Amazon Fire TV with the Alexa Voice Remote

We have received a new Amazon Fire TV stick a couple of days ago, and love how easy it was to install at home! Now we’ve got it all available to us, all the great shows, and we can see our photos so much easier!

I have been struggling with the photos recently. In the past we used to have photo albums when we just used a regular camera, but now with digital cameras everything is pretty well digitized, and we only print select few photos. All of our memories we keep but we don’t always print them, hence the problem – how do we ever get to see all of the photos.

Well, now this is so simple! Now you can see photos and play a slideshow of your albums on the Amazon Fire TV, just ask Alexa.

I love having the Prime Photos benefit that comes with Prime membership. This membership includes unlimited photo storage with Prime Photos and 5 GB digital storage for videos and files.

No need to be worried about the space either. All US Amazon customers receive 5 GB free digital storage for photos, videos, and files. Important to note that this product launch is US specific.

How does Amazon Fire TV with the Alexa Voice Remote work exactly?

Amazon customers can view and search for their photos and photo albums with the Alexa Voice Remote and the Prime Photos app on their Fire TV.  Prime members can also search for people, places, and things, with phrases like, “show photos of dogs,” “show photos of Wyoming,” or “show photos of Jane.” We would mostly just ask to “show my photos”.

This is a great addition to what you can already do with Prime Photos on your Amazon Fire TV. Check out more ways to use the Prime Photos Fire TV app here, hint: you can even change your screensaver. As I have mentioned, If that wasn’t enough, all Prime members get unlimited photo storage, as well as 5 GB digital storage for other files and videos. Now, you can relax on your living room couch and flip through your photos and personal videos on the biggest screen in your home using your Alexa Voice Remote. This has always been my dream to easily see my photos straight on the TV screen.

Prime Photos helps keep your photos right at your fingertips, wherever you are. Keep your photos safe while you free up space on your devices when you store your photos online with the free Prime Photos apps.

I am just so excited to be able to use Amazon Fire TV Stick – such a cool looking device, and installing it is pure bliss – so quick and simple! We have been purchasing a few devices lately on Amazon, and they often come from small company suppliers, not Amazon itself, and are often missing some essential parts that we then have to buy separately in order to actually be able to use the device we need. This Fire TV stock comes well equipped with all of the necessary adapters to make it easy to use once you have it.

Once we have all of the components installed, and that is super simple as long as you have instructions on hand, and follow them, anyone can install it, there are only 3 steps involved in the installation process. Now that everything is working, I am glad to enjoy my favorite shows on Netflix – this is what we watch now most of the days, just getting the shows that we like, on demand.

The beauty of this Fire TV stick is this voice activated remote. Imagine having to type up every letter of your favorite show, or a show that you would like to find and watch? Now you can just say it, and everything is done for you by Alexa – no typing required! So happy to be using my Alexa Voice Remote to brighten up my day without the frustration of having to type anything out – I can just speak my mind, and Alexa will be there for me to help me out!
